Dr. Ahmed Ebied is a Consultant in the Department of Neurology at the Medcare Hospital Sharjah. After completing his MBBch, he pursued his Masters in Neuropsychiatry and MD in Neurology, all from Zagazig University in Egypt. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology,Fellow of the European Board of Neurology, a member of the Emirates Neurology Society, the Egyptian Society of Neurology, Psychiatry and Neurosurgery, and the Egyptian Clinical Neurophysiology Society. Headache specialist and Board member of the World Headache Society (WHS).Dr. Ebied has been a neurology Consultant at Saudi German Hospitals Group, the largest healthcare group in the MENA region, in Jeddah and Sharjah, treating epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, dementia. He was a consultant neurologist under the Ministry of Health, in Egypt and a lecturer and faculty at the Department of Neurology at the Zagazig University. He has efficiently managed acute neurological emergencies and neurocritical care involving stroke, ischemic or intracranial haemorrhage, epilepsy, convulsions, memory impairment conditions like Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, extreme numbness, polyneuropathy, abnormal involuntary movement and Parkinson's disease, mild to acute headache, migraine, hypertension, including administering Botox injections for chronic migraine, neck and lower back pain.
