Dr. Dilip Panikar

Dr. Dilip Panikar is a Specialist in the Department of Neurosurgery at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from the prestigious M.S. University in Baroda, India. He then completed his MCh in Neurosurgery from the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He is a member of the Neurological Society of India, the Skull Base Surgery Society of India, the Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery Society of India, the Indian Society for Paediatric Neurosurgery and the Neurovascular Society of India. During the nascent stages of his illustrious career, Dr. Panikar was a Consultant at the renowned Manipal Hospital. He also served as a Professor and the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi and an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He spent some time as the Chief of Medical Services and Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery at Aster Medcity in India before relocating to the UAE. He joined Aster Hospital in Mankhool as a Specialist Neurologist before moving to Medcare. His sterling career spans more than three decades of meritorious service.
