Dr. Azam Badar Khan

Dr. Azam Badar Khan is a highly regarded Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon, who currently works as a Specialist at Medcare Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital. He completed his MBBS from the Magadh University in Bodh Gaya, India and his MS (Orthopaedics) medical post-graduation from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in Varanasi, India. He also acquired a Fellowship in Pelvis and Acetabulum from the Hospital for Special Surgery at the University of Cornell, New York, USA and a Fellowship in Arthroplasty from St Petersburg, Russia. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and the Delhi Orthopaedic Association (DOA).With over two decades of experience, Dr. Khan has built a distinguished career, specializing in complex knee surgeries. This was followed by a Registrar’s position, in Orthopaedics at the Mumbai Peripheral Municipal Hospital, Mumbai and the Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. He garnered rich experience in his chosen field as a Specialist at the Navjeevan Clinic & Research Centre in Bihar and as a Senior Resident at Orthonova Hospital in New Delhi. He spent some time as a Specialist at the Kerala Institute of Medical Science in Kerala before moving to Bahrain to join the Bahrain Defence Force Hospital, a State-of-the-Art institute. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE, becoming a leading authority in orthopaedic surgery. He has worked as a Specialist in Orthopaedics at the International Modern Hospital, Medcare Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital, the Trauma Centre, Rashid Hospital, the Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery and Prime Hospital & Medical Centre, Dubai. Dr. Khan is known for his precision, skill, and innovative approach to treatment and uses the latest advancements in medical technology to achieve optimal results.
