Dr. Aspasia Michalopoulou

Dr. Aspasia Michalopoulou is an Italian board-certified Obstetrician& Gynaecologist with 35 years of experience in women's health. She obtained her postgraduate degree in OB-GYN with honours from the University of Naples, Italy, where she worked from 1995 to 2009 before relocating to the UAE.Dr. Aspasia has an extensive background in maternal diabetes genetics, AIDS research, and high-risk pregnancy management. She previously headed two private clinics in Naples and was nominated by the Italian government (Campania Region) as the sole specialist responsible for women's health and caesarean section reduction implementation across four hospitals and seven healthcare departments.Since moving to Dubai in 2009, Dr. Aspasia has worked in various leading healthcare facilities, including Mediclinic Middle East and DHCC, before joining Medicentres, where she has practiced for the last 11 years.
