Dr. Aseena Alungal Ummer

Dr. Aseena Alungal Ummer started her orthodontic path at the Yenepoya University in Mangalore, India. There she completed a Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. Following that she received intensive education in TMD Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine, became a 'Fellow' in the same. She obtained her Bachelor‟s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, India.Due to the diversity in her training, Dr. Aseena is proficient in different treatment modalities which include preventive approaches, cleft and orthognathic cases. Moreover, she uses a variety of appliances including Damon Braces, Invisalign, orthopedic and mini implants. She is also an Implant Certified Professional offering accelerated orthodontics that ensures a speedy treatment.Dr. Aseena stays up to date with the latest orthodontic advances and research to ensure a better experience for each patient. She also conducted research and has publications in the renowned “American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthodontics” (AJODO) Journal.She is a member of Indian Orthodontic Association. She is licensed to practice in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and India. She speaks English, Malayalam and Hindi.
