Dr. Archana Purushothaman

Dr. Archana Purushothaman is an American Board Certified Endocrinologist with work experience spanned over 12 years in the US and India. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, USA, after which she joined the AIIMS Hospitalist group, at Saint Francis tertiary care medical center and academic institution, where she provided patient care in both emergency and inpatient settings, as well as had teaching responsibilities.She completed her endocrine Fellowship at University of Nebraska, USA under the best names in the field of thyroid cancer, pituitary diseases and inpatient care for diabetes.She had a busy practice, both as a private and hospital-employed consultant endocrinologist in Mumbai, India since the last few years. She has been a faculty at a renowned charitable and teaching institution as well as at a reputed maternity and pediatric hospital.Her special focus is on women’s endocrine conditions including PCOS, obesity, gestational thyroid, diabetes and osteoporosis.She is also an active speaker and participant in clinical conferences and webinars.
