Dr. Ammar Majbour

Dr. Ammar Majbour has completed his MBBCh and MD degrees from Damascus University, and is an ophthalmology specialist. He has worked at a number of hospitals in Damascus and completed specialised training in India, Germany and Egypt. He has worked at Damascus Hospital, Italian Hospital – Damascus and in his private clinic there. He has completed training in Phaco surgery from India, in LASIK surgery from Germany and in vitrectomy surgery from Al Magrabi - Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Ammar Majbour is a member of the Syrian Association of Ophthalmology and the American Association of Ophthalmology.Dr. Majbour specialises in performing cataract surgery by phaco technique, refractive surgery, squint management and surgery. He helps patients to manage lacrimal tract diseases and performs surgery when required. He treats patients of glaucoma.When Dr. Majbour gets time off work, he enjoys swimming and travelling. He speaks Arabic and English.
