Dr. Amir Hadjhamou is a Specialist Prosthodontist with an extensive experience both in clinical practice and academia. He received his post-doctoral training and specialization at University Claude Bernard, Lyon 1 in France where he graduated with honors. He was also appointed as an adjunct lecturer in addition to his clinical duties in the Oral Maxillofacial and Prosthodontics departments at Hotel-Dieu Hospital, Lyon in the same country.In the UAE, Dr. Amir Hadjhamou has over 15 years of clinical practice fully dedicated to Aesthetic Rejuvenations & Prosthodontic Rehabilitations in various reputable clinics and is licensed by the Ministry of Health as a Consultant Prosthodontist. He has been an adjunct faculty in Prosthodontics at the University of Sharjah, College of Dental Medicine for the last 13 years where he mentors undergrad students and now postgraduate dentists specializing in Prosthodontics.His generosity in teaching and passion for academia took his ambition to the next level. In 2011, Dr. Amir founded the Aesthetic Dentistry & Applied Methods Course (ADAM Course) one of the first Dental Veneer Courses in the UAE, then the advanced course on full mouth reconstructions and is now the director of the Professional Diploma in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry, a one year postgraduates continuous education program dedicated to training dental professionals in the UAE and the region.Dr. Amir is a renowned international speaker. In parallel to his academic and clinical achievements, he had the opportunity to present in various conferences and courses in many countries including France, Ireland, Belgium, and the USA. In 2019, he has participated as a keynote speaker in conferences and courses in 14 different countries and has trained more than 3,000 dentists in different parts of the world over the last decade. His expertise in prosthodontics and aesthetics is constantly solicited, being a permanent key opinion leader for well-established dental industries, and an active member of high scientific committees.
