Dr. Alec Makhoul

Dr. Alec Makhoul graduated as a Medical Doctor from the University of Balamand in 2013.He completed a residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in 2017.He completed a fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology (adult and pediatric) at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in 2018, where he also moonlighted as junior associate.Dr. Alec was involved in teaching and training of medical students and junior residents during his residency and fellowship.He worked as Anesthesiologist in a private day hospital in Lebanon, handling diverse cases from pediatrics to geriatrics.He invested time in optimizing pre-operative testing and premedication protocols, in addition to post-operative pain management.He implemented regional anesthesia techniques as sole anesthesia modalities or in addition to general anesthesia for post-operative pain management.Dr. Alec moved to Saudi Arabia and worked in a hospital with a very busy maternity service.
