Dr. Alan Issa

Dr. Alan Issa is a Specialist in the Department of Paediatrics at the Discovery Gardens branch of Medcare Medical Centre. He is Arab Board Certified in Paediatrics and holds a Doctor of Medicine Diploma from Aleppo University in Syria. He is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK. He is also a member of the Paediatric Saudi Association.During the early years of his career, he first practised as a Paediatrician and then as a NICU Physician at the Maternity & Children Hospital in Dammam under the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. He then worked at the Ram Medical Clinics in Dammam before joining the prestigious Dr. Sulaiman AlHabib Hospital.Dr. Issa’s expertise covers the entire gamut of neonatology, newborn diseases, infectious diseases, paediatric emergencies, acute and chronic paediatric diseases and all neonatal intensive care unit cases. He has successfully treated conditions like asthma, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, gastroenteritis, urinary tract infections and constipation, and ably diagnosed and managed skin diseases. He is proficient in managing acute and chronic infectious diseases like CNS, respiratory and GIT. In his spare time, Dr. Issa likes to relax with a good book or indulge in some sporting activity. He speaks Arabic and English .
