Dr. Aida Kanaan

Dr. Aida Kanaan is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS and a Postgraduate Specialty Certification in Internal Medicine from the Beirut Arab University, Beirut. She holds a postgraduate degree in Medical Leadership from the University of London and a Master’s degree in Endocrinology from Edge Hill University.Dr. Kanaan commenced her career as an intern with Hamoud University Hospital later, she completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Beirut Arab University before moving to the UK as an Internal Medicine Senior House Officer at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. She then returned to the UAE where she spent a decade working first as an Internal Medicine Physician with the Saudi German Health Group and then the Dr. Sulaiman AL Habib Medical Group. Subsequently, she returned to the UK to complete her Diabetes and Endocrinology International Training Fellowship with the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Diabetes and Endocrinology International Training Fellowship with the Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust. She has since worked part-time as an Internal Medicine Specialist with GluCare Health and GMC Clinics, both in the UAE.
