Dr. Ahmed Shaz Palli Veedu

Dr. Ahmad Shaz Palli Veedu is a Specialist Orthodontist in the Department of Dentistry at the Medcare Medical Center- Sharjah. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Pariyaram Dental College and Hospital, Kannur University located in Kerala. He then obtained a Master’s Degree from Yenapoya Dental College and Hospital at Yenapoya University Mangalore. Dr. Ahmad is a member of the Indian Dental Association and the Emirates Medical Association. A well-known orthodontist and general practitioner, Dr. Ahmad has worked at various multi-specialty hospitals in Kerala and the UAE. His expertise ranges from the alignment of impacted or displaced teeth to a multi-disciplinary approach to smile design. He has successfully corrected various habit-related malocclusions like thumb sucking, tongue thrusting, mouth breathing etc and irregular and protruding teeth and jaws. He is proficient in correcting mal-aligned teeth using the latest clear aligners without braces, metal braces, lingual braces, self-ligation braces, ceramic braces, etc. Dr. Ahmad has treated myofunctional jaw problems and worked on the improvement of facial aesthetics.
