  4. Later, the uterus and cervix will be removed by the surgeon.
  5. After removal of the uterus and cervix, sutures are made on top of the vagina.

  1. IV will be removed if the patient is eating or drinking well enough.
  2. The patient will be wearing special boots to prevent the blood clots in the legs.
