I shall never recommend Dr. Shrivastava to anyone. He is someone who cannot be trusted. I got a root canal in June 2016 and he didn't make sure that the roots were completely cleaned before the cap was put on. Also, he didn't clarify that I needed a root canal in the adjacent tooth as well. Six months down the line, the tooth he performed the root canal on is rotten (Abscess formation) and because it wasn't cleaned properly it almost reached the stage of cyst formation. I had to go through the pain of two root canals because he wasn't vigilant enough or cared to refer me to a specialist. I had pain during the procedure repeatedly, which, clearly he didn't think was something to consider before sealing the tooth. Additionally, he asked that I get a mouth guard, which I pretty much stopped using within a week because it only caused more pain. Also, I remember during one of the sitting, he had given something stronger than local anesthesia which made me dizzy (All without my consent), I didn't have control over my senses, I genuinely felt that I was drugged, it was during this visit when he made me fill up the feedback form. Which of course will never reflect anything that I am saying here. All this while I thought I was overthinking it, but my recent visit to another dentist confirmed that Dr. Shrivastava is not someone to trust. It took me months to find the courage to be able to write this feedback. He is caused me a lot of unnecessary emotional, physical and financial stress, and it might be better to stay away from his clinic.
