Working out with De Quervain's Syndrome
I am a father currently dealing with De Quervain's Syndrome/Mommy Thumb and also am gym rat. I am icing and trying to be conscious of how I pick up my daughter. I also found strengthening/range of motion rehab exercises. Should I cut back on lifting? Cut down on the weight? Cut out certain exercises? Stop lifting for a while?

HELLO, CONSULT A N ORTHOPEDICIAN AND PHYSIOTHERAPIST. AS THIS DISEASE IS ONLY CONTROLLED BY THESE FACTORS, YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING AGAINST IT. AFTER SURGERY YOU CAN'T  REMOVE SINCE 12 OR MORE WEEKS. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THIS. IMMOBILIZATION IS VERY IMPORTANT OTHER WISE DAMAGE WILL BE PERMANENT. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS SITUATION. SO DON'T  CUT ANY THING. O.K BYE.
