White vaginal mucousy discharge
My mother is 70 years old and is currently on levatin ib tablet for her thyroid cancer treatment. We noticed mucous white discharge since two weeks. No foul odor. Her pet scan was done two days ago. Nothing abnormal detected. She is bedridden and on diapers. Could this white discharge be some kind of infection ? Or is it anything serious ? If anything serious the whole body pet scan should have detected it right ?

Since PET scan is normal, you need not worry. But women are prone to genital infections, you can consider taking Homeopathy treatment for her as medicines are extremely safe and she can easily consume.  There could be slight infection which Homeopathic medicines will take care.

White vaginal discharge is usually seen due to bacterial or yeast infection. If it is associated with itching, redness & swelling of the vulva, kindly visit the ER and have the discharge examined and start the medication based on the culture of the discharge.
