Which doctor to consult?
I have two issues primarily, 1. My lower back was injured from a jerk during Badminton. I was unable to bend or articulate my upper body owing to intense pain on lower left back. This was two months ago. Even now, in certain movements, I feel a sharp sting in that same place. Need help on who to consult. Orthopedist or Physiotherapist. Additionally, I'm not sure if it's a consequence of this injury, but when a force is applied right below my glutes, strong sharp pains run parallel to each other, beginning at the upper leg and terminating at the knee and arresting its movement. 2. I face a severe pain below my calves on the left leg, towards the inside (probably in the Soleus). I can trace it to a clash during football, but it hurts everytime I undertake any activity that involves shocks to the legs, i.e. jumping, long distance running. I would be grateful for any help, because I have no idea what kind of doctor would be most appropriate in these situations. Thanks in advance.
