Which antibiotics for paronychia
My friend has developed paronychia in three of her fingernails. The condition is quite critical and she faces an acute pain in her infected fingers. Though we have scheduled an appointment with the doctor for tomorrow but to ease her pain we need antibiotics. Can you suggest which antibiotics for paronychia are suitable? Apply warm compression over the painful areas.
To start Clavum 625 1tab tds x5 days.
For pain relief can take zerodol p/ hifenac D twice a day after food. Add Pan 40 once in empty stomach at morning to prevent gastritis.
Next Steps
If infection does not subside may need drainage of pus.
