I have got diabetes at the age of 21, which is also my current age and I am addicted to smoking may I still smoke or I need to quit with smoking , and also suggest weather this diabetes can be cured or I only have to take medicines long life from now onwards.

hello there. regarding your smoking issue- smoking will only worsen your situation in the long run. you won't have proper glycemic control due to smoking. additionally, smoking is a big risk factor for a lot of cardiac problems. diabetics are more prone to become hypertensive, smoking will just increase the risk and make you more prone. regarding diabetes treatment - currently, there is nothing called complete cure. so you just need to take medicines. hope this helps. regards
