I am underweight, so have very less muscle in my hips. While sitting on a chair or bed I start feeling the bones in my hips pressing against the innermost hard surface of the chair/bed and it makes me very uneasy and after a certain time I have to shift my sitting posture to let go of the pain. The situation get worse when directly sitting on a hard surface like METRO. The problem is just like pressing your bone against a hard surface with full force and the pain caused by the process. Please help.

Dear.
The muscles may be sensitized.
Kindly look up pictures and videos on ergonomics of sitting which will tell you the scientific ideal good sitting posture, hence you can correct your sitting style appropriately. A physiotherapist trained in ergonomics can help you with this as well. If after correcting the sitting style your issue doesn't subside as much as you want then meet a McKenzie physiotherapist and get your lumbar spine evaluated and get appropriate exercises for the same .
Wishing you happy health.
