Twin pregnancy (one missed abortion)
Hi I'm 7 weeks pregnant Recently I had ultrasound scan(7th week) and identified two intra uterine gestational sacs. Out of that one sac is showing no fetal pole with yolk sac seen(missed abortion). Other sac is showing small embryo cardiac activity seen 3mm. As checked with gynic she mentioned that we can continue and will wait till 3rd month. But I'm worrying for surviving twin whether it's doing good or not. Also I have a doubt that if having two sacs means each sharing different placenta or same. Also does the surviving baby will have any birth defects? Why did this happened.Any other consequences in continuing this pregnancy.
