To confirm regarding Hepatitis test.

Good morning Doctor, 20 days back I donated my blood(O-) but next day got to know that Doctors discarded the blood saying that blood is infected with some hepatitis virus. I was worried at that time so I went to another doctor and mentioned everything about the situation so he recommended me to go for HBSag and AIDS test. Luckily the test were negative and even I don't have any symptoms or problem as of now. The problem is when I called that Doctor who discarded the blood,he told me that go for hepatitis C test(HCV) but the Doctor whom I consulted after that told me to wait for some time as I am not having any symptoms of hepatitis C and even hepatitis B & AIDS reports were negative. So I am just curious here as I had HBsag and AIDS reports negative and having no such symptoms or problem as of now.. should I still go for hepatitis C test or wait for some time. Please help me out getting confused. Thanks in advance !
