Thyroid TSH got 6.69
My homeopathy doctor asked me to get my thyroid test done few days back. And TSH level I got it 6.69 and he asked me to get some physician advice. Is this range normal. Which specialized doctor I should meet for this issue? A general MD should be enough or any specialized for thyroid issue? T3 and T4 are within range.

HELLO, NO IT IS NOT A NORMAL VALUE. YOU CAN SEE THE NORMAL RANGE WRITTEN IN BRACKET 0.4 to  SOME VALUE. AS DIFFERENT MACHINES HAVE DIFFERENT CALIBER. THIS IS KNOWN AS HYPOTHYROIDISM, YOUR WEIGHT IS SUDDENLY INCREASE. MEDICINE IS TYRONORM OR ANY OTHER BRANDS( THYROXIN). YOU CONSULT A ENDOCRINOLOGIST RATHER THAN MD PHYSICIAN IF AVAILABLE. O.K, BYE.
