Hello there...I can understand your concern. Tuberculosis is mainly caused by infection through mycobacterium tuberculosis bacilli. This bacilli can spread through various means like droplet infections, sputum expectoration from an active tuberculosis patient. So when you come in contact with these secretions, there is a chance that you can get infected.
