Hello doc, There was yellow bug which make cut on my wife hand with sting. We have done home remidies but still there is swelling over hand. Initially it was with pain but now itching is therè. Avil 25 with pain killer already taken. Please suggest by which swelling and etching can be reduce.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Usually such things take about 2-3 days to reduce. To control the itching you could ask her to take a tab. Ebast 20 once a day after food. Apply a calamime lotion over the affected area. Also, if it doesnt subside kindly consult a dermatologist in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
