Sudden dizziness/Weakness
I have been experiencing sudden dizziness when this happens i am not able to walk as i feel very weak in my hands and legs and feel that i will fall down. It happens mainly on the right side of the body. At times, i can feel the nerve on the right side above my ear throbbing. I am not sure why this is happening. Just to give you some background, i was a substance user for almost 7-8 years consuming hardcore substance. I am clean since last 6 years. I'm not sure whether this is the cause or is it something else. Due to this problem, i am having anxiety issues as i'm always worried and tensed. Kindly let me know what to do and suggest some treatment.

Hi, it looks like right sided hemiperesis. Hemiparesis is weakness of the entire left or right side of the body. Hemiplegia is, in its most severe form, complete paralysis of half of the body. Hemiparesis and can be caused by different medical conditions, including congenital causes, trauma, tumors, or stroke. People with hemiparesis often have difficulties maintaining their balance due to limb weaknesses leading to an inability to properly shift body weight. This makes performing everyday activities such as dressing, eating, grabbing objects, or using the bathroom more difficult. Hemiparesis with origin in the lower section of the brain creates a condition known as ataxia, a loss of both gross and fine motor skills, often manifesting as staggering and stumbling. Pure Motor Hemiparesis, a form of hemiparesis characterized by sided weakness in the leg, arm, and face. You have mentioned about your anxiety problem also, if you are taking treatment for anxiety these drugs can also cause dizziness, weakness. You need to undergo complete evaluation go for CT brain, cbc, x ray chest and urine routine.consult neurologist for furthur evaluation and treatment.
