Sprain in hand
Today I just slipped and i think I've got a sprain in my right hand. beginning from my small finger to downwards of my palm its swollen, reddish and paining at joint of my palm and wrist. Please suggest some protective measures and the actual reason behind the pain and swelling.

It's contusion injury keep cold or hot pack on the swelling, consult orthopedic surgeon ,better to get xray done to rule out fracture
