Spotting on birth control-PCOD patient.

Hi All, Please kindly help me understand this. I have recently been moved to birth control - Diane 35. I was on my second packet and had my PROPER period for about 7 to 8 days after which i have been spotting till now. The spotting is very light that is only visible while wiping the area for hygiene. I was also taking Kayam Churan regularly for about 2 weeks simultaneously to the birth control. Now i have stopped consuming Kayam churan after knowing that it might interfere with my birth control and hence, lead me to spotting. It has been 2 days since i have stopped consuming this medicine. Is spotting normal in my case? Did i do the right thing by stopping Kayam Churan? Shall i wait to see if the spotting subsides? Shall i switch to another brand of birth control?
