Skin itching betwe thighs

Facing itching problem from more than 3, 4 months.. using creams will give releif.. but after stopping creams again it is starting.. itching is between thighs.. looking for a permanent solution. Also whom to consult for this? Skin specialist?

Hello there...I can understand your concern. Yes it is better you consult a dermatologist, that is, skin specialist. Itching between the thighs will usually be due to tinea cruris. But it is important to rule out other diseases like scabies, intertrigo. So kindly consult a dermatologist for further evaluation. Avoid using creams in your especially steroids as they can cause atrophy and exacerbate any infection.
