RT PCR not detected - what does it mean
Me and my wife as a precautionary measure have got ourselves tested for COVID- 19 Virus - and the test reporty of both show ' COVID-19 Virus, Qualitative RT PCR - Not Detected' - Molecular Diagnostics.
At present we both are neither having any fever, cough or anything. Will you kindly confirm our reports means we are Corona negative? As I am a layman unable to understand medical language.

Without symptoms and without contact history one should not go for rtpcr. Inyour case you're negative. Rtpcr only 70% is positivity rate .
