Right upper abdomen pain.

Asked for Male, 27 Years

Hello Dr. From the last few weeks i am having right upper abdomen pain which is mild and not constant. I suspect gallbladder/liver/pancreatic problem. But i don't have any other problems like nausea,vomiting,weight loss,pale stool,dark urine,fever etc. But i am so worried. Please let me know what should i do.

Hi there...biliary causes of right upper quadrant pain include cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, and cholangitis; colonic causes are colitis or diverticulitis; and hepatic causes are abscess, hepatitis, or mass. Pulmonary causes are pneumonia or embolus, and renal causes are nephrolithiasis or pyelonephritis...consult nearest surgeon for clinical examination and evaluation and for investigations like usg abdomen they will do the needful.
