Hello there...I can understand your concern. Sgpt is a transaminase. It is a part of liver function test. A sgpt level of 40.6 is only slightly above the normal level. If the other parameters of liver function tests are normal, then you need not worry. However if the other parameters are also high, then consult a general physician for further evaluation.
