Repeated Throat Infection
From the past 1 year, I have been repeatedly getting Throat Infection. The frequency of occurrence in once in 45 days. I visited General Physicians and ENT in Bangalore and the doctors after examination of my Throat have stated acute granular pharyngitis and prescribed antibiotics. Once I start with the antibiotic, I start feeling better and eventually I get cured. Again this repeats after an interval of 35-45 days. Some of the Antibiotics that I have taken in the past 1. Start of August 2016 - zocef cv 250 mg 1. starting of November 2016 - Keffpod 200mg 2. End of December 2016 - claribid 500 mg 3. Mid of January 2017 - Cepodem xp 325 mg 4. End of February - ceftas cv 325 mg Now again, I am having terrible throat pain past 2 days and I have tried steam inhalation, salt water gargling, Betadine gargling. But nothing really helped and I have got fever 100 F. Please Please can someone really help me ?

Hello there...... Rest. Get plenty of sleep and rest your voice. Drink fluids. Drink plenty of water to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration. Try comforting foods and beverage. Warm liquids — broth, caffeine-free tea or warm water with honey — and cold treats such as ice pops can soothe a sore throat. Gargle saltwater. A saltwater gargle of 1 teaspoon. Gargle the solution and then spit it out.....
