Hello,
I am 34.5yr old with 14+ weeks(2nd pregnancy) undergone NT and NB FTS scan and tets last wweek, the scan turned out "Low risk" (NT + NB) .
In the FTS report, Trisomy 21 has come as "Intermediate Risk" with 1:521 as final risk factor., and hence my GYN doc recommended to undergo NIPT for the same to rule outfurther.
Could anyone please explain me if the scan says low risk , how can a blood report say as intermediate risk.
Just concerned and anxious to know as we are following acc to the protocol as per existing process for the same during pregnancy.
Thanks in advance.
