Regarding medication
My sister has been diagnosed with pcod a year back.doctor has proscribed a medicine metformin.after one or two month of taking that medicine she conceive but unfortunately pregnancy not sustained.after that doctor ask to  continue metformin.now since its almost one year she is taking that medicine.i want to know ia there any side effect of that medicine on long run .also she is trying to conceive again.is that medicine is safe in pregnancy or if trying to conceive

Hello well the tablet metformin if given because of the insulin resistance which she would be facing because of the PCOS condition...I would suggest you to meet an obstetrician once fir follow up..no there is no harm as such in taking until PCOS. Is resolved...thank  you
