Regarding breast feeding
Hi this is Renuka. I'm having 1 yr old baby. Can you please confirm, can i feed her my milk. As some one said if we feed after a year babies won't eat food. Is mother milk will become thick after 1 yr. Please help me on this. Thank you

No harm at all in breast feeding but should supplement with other food also after the age of 6 months.

You can feed your baby breast milk, but the fact is that only breast feeding will not be nutritionally sufficient for the baby. There is no documentation that breast milk become thick or such after 1year. But baby should be slowly weaned off from breastfeeding after 6months-1year age for baby's better growth & mother's proper menstrual cycle.

Upto 6months exclusive breast feeding is required, after that its optional and now you can quit gradually. Can consult gynaecologist/ paediatrician for more & better informations.
