Rabbit Food Problems
Hi. My buns are a month old. I don't have access to hay so I provide fresh grass and seasonal veggies. But they don't like it that much and are constantly in search for fruits. I recently started looking for rabbit pellets. Even rabbit pellets are a scarcity in India. But I found a decent brand. The problem is it has corn in it, which according to most info sites is bad. It has ground corn, corn gluten meal, and corn distill. My question: Is corn really that bad for rabbits?

Corn either fresh or dried are NOT safe for rabbits coz they cause indigestion as they become impacted in the gut..and pellet food can be given 1/8 cup to a 4 pound rabbit and u can calculate accordingly. Also u can feed fresh vegetables and fruits to ur bunny. Regards Dr. Prachi Kshatriya
