Hello..
Well the bed sores must be treated immediately before it goes deep in the skin and touch the bones causing osteomyelitis... Staph is a common organism causing it and we an treat it effectively with vancomycin injectable or higher antibiotics like meropenem...please consult a dermatologist at the earliest and also patient needs good nursing care at this point of time.. It's better to use alpha or water bed too which will further prevent sores.. And every two hourly position changing is a must
