Puppy Dog tooth scratch

Gud Afternoon Doctors... Yesterday while returning from office I was petting a street pup. While petting its tooth scratched my finger. So I went to a doctor and he examined it and said that it has just scratched your skin no flesh wound. So he prescribed me to take a TT injection and I did as said. So now I just wanna know if this TT would do the Job or should I visit a doctor?? Please help...
