Problem of trichobezoar
I have a doubt that my 6 week old son swallowed 2-3 hair, around5 to 6 centimeters long, in his stomach. Can it stick in the intestine in the form of hairball creating a problem like trichobezoar, so worried. Kindly any of you pediatrician can answer my question?

Hi there, I am not a pediatrician but a consulting physician. 2 to 3 hair strands will not be of any problem. Bezoar formations happen in specific deficiencies / disorders. Please do not worry.
