Today I had sex using condom. But I have doubts of transmission of sexually transmitted dieses like hiv and others. Could you please tell me the possibility and when I can go for blood test after having sex. Just I want to clarify myself. Please help me out. And what is mutation period.. Thanks

Risky sexual activities with others always carry risk of transmission of sexually transmitted infections. Condom can prevent HIV up to an extent but cannot prevent others like Hepatitis B, General Herpes etc.
Window period of HIV is 12 weeks. It's time taken to form detectable levels of Antibodies in blood against HIV Virus
