My sister and many others have influenza. I’ve been vaccinated and as far as I know I am not sick, but I have been exposed. I have specific treatment for my food allergies where I need to take a measured dose of the allergen to become desensitized to it. If I get sick at all I have to greatly decrease my dose and lose treatment progress. What exact measures can I take to stay healthy? Is it safe to take ibuprofen to prevent illness if I don’t have symptoms? What about steroids like prednisone?
