Polymyositis causing other disorders
My mother was diagnosed with polymyositis 2 years back,she was on medication for 1 year which included steroids under supervision of neurologist.Her CPK level came back to normal from 7000+ after 1 year of medication & medicines were stopped.She could easily walk & sit with folded legs which was not possible when she was diagnosed with polymyositis.8 months back she travelled in car(Innova) by road to various holy places in maharashtra covering a distance of around 800 kilometers.As soon as she came back her CPK level shot up to 4000+ & again she was on medication.In November her CPK level came back to normal but now she is having various other disorders which we came to know when she was admitted in hospital for 25 days.Now, today she was discharged.Now she is diagnosed with Spine Tuberculosis which we came to know after conducting biopsy.TB is found in various parts of body lincluding skull.She is also diagnosed with jaundice,her heart pumping only 25%.She is bed ridden & do not eat
