Pet Dog bite
I got accidental bite from dog 48 hrs ago, Minor bleeding occurred. should I need to take rabies vaccine.

1) Do thorough wash to the injured area with normal saline or clear water and undergo dressing if required 2) Take one dose of Tetanus Injection if not taken in recent years 3) Take Vaccine for rabies on 0,3,7&14 day (total 4 doses) 4) IVIG (immunoglobulin) administration is required if the wound is severe and bleeding present 5) watch the dog for any signs of disease like excessive salivation, improper behaviour pattern, aggressiveness etc

Pls see dog is vaccinated Second meet physician get it done the  examination TT needs to be taken If not taken in last 6 month Vaccination will be decided after all history

First of all, thorough washing with clean water, inj TT. And contact with doctor for further schedule for Rabies vaccine. *Check regarding the vaccine status of the dog too.
