Hello. My wife is suffering from acute pancreatitis. After diagnosis, doctors have suggested a GB surgery. But currently she has reoccurring fever and chills. Can anyone suggest how long this temperature and chills will be there? And treatment for the same.

Hello..... She might be having cholelithiasis ... Intermittent jaundice , fever , abdominal pain are the triad of cholelithiasis..... Gall stores must be removed by laproscopic surgery.... Antibiotics are prescribed to combat infection ....she has to manage with antipyretics and painkillers..take her to general surgeon.
