Pain killers and the bar

Hello, I recently tore my ACL and have been proscribed oxycotton for the pain, but some friends came by tonight and i had a couple beer but now I'm in a lot of pain should I hold off on taking the medication because im not really stoked on dieing or is it ok

Kindly avoid having oxycotton with alcohol as it is contraindicated. Alcohol is a form of pain killer so the alcohol should numb your pain have the medicine only after 8 hours after your last drink.
