Heavy weakness in the last 7-9 days... No food/liquid intake... Got her hospitalised at local hospital for glucose intake... Symtons like hand shivering and memory loss continued. Did MRI, saw blood clot and operated it immediately at karuna hospital under, neurosurgeon- Dr. Vinod rambal.. What precautions and medications are needed after the surgery? General time for discharge after surgery? Food habits to be followed?

Hello there...., looks like she has developed developed ischaemic stroke... The return to function depends upon the severity of the stroke, what parts of the brain and body have stopped working, and what complications develop.... Prevention is always the best treatment, especially when the illness can be life-threatening.... In patients who have physical, mental, and emotional deficits because of the stroke, rehabilitation is done...
