Can staying awake until all hours of the morning such 5.30 am or after midnight as I have read up on affect your cognitive fuction, thinking processing thoughts prioritising things and your attitude towards the importance of getting sleep at the right time as my parents do and it affects my sleep for recovery period to help my eyesight to get better as we live in bungalow and I share bedroom with my mum and it affects me as I am vulnerable adult who depends on my parents to look after me

Not to worry. This is normal at this age. You should be sleeping at a proper time as it affects your health. Later on problems crop up. So better make up a routine.
