Need suggestions on thyroid problem

Asked for Female, 36 Years

I am taking tablets for thyroid of 25mg my t3 and t4 is normal but my tsh is increased by 8.71.last month I suffered by dengue so my doctor suggest me to take 50mcg. But I have doubt that because of dengue it may increased so should I take 50mcg or not?

Dengue fever or any acute illness TSH level usually decreases same with T3 and T4 . TSH of 8.71 is quite high . As per my advice you should go with your doctor ie 50MCG / Day
