Need for Zika testing? Pre-conception
My wife and I, residents of Switzerland, have been traveling /working in Cambodia and Vietnam since 2 August 2017 and will stay here until 31 October 2017 (3 months total). During our trip, on 2 occasions I had fever/sweats and some nausea (last fever was on 18 September), lasting about 24 hours each. Since my wife and I are going to proceed with (medically assisted) reproduction in November, I would like to know your advice regarding the need for Zika testing and precautionary measures.
